On June 6th, the coordinator Fernando Nardi (WARREDOC) presented NEXUS-NESS project during the workshop “Empowering women as champions of the Mediterranean’s green transition”, organized within the EU Green Week.
We sincerely thank the PRIMA Program for selecting NEXUS-NESS as one of the relevant projects as a case study and best practices for addressing socio-environmental challenges in the Mediterranean region.

NEXUS-NESS will develop with stakeholders a Nexus-Ness Service to co-validate WEFE Nexus strategies for fair access to resources and risk mitigation in four Nexus Ecosystem Living Labs. NEXUS-NESS NELs are supported by the Responsible Research and Innovation™© Roadmap XPROConsulting, a Multi-Stakeholder User Platform and a WEFE Nexus forum for co-demonstration and promotion of the solution in the Euro-Med area.

The main purposes of NEXUS NESS are:

  • Operationalizing NEXUS-NESS services at NEL level
  • Co-definition of Grand Challenges
  • Developing capacity building strategy to identify proper set of activities needed to improve partners’ and stakeholders’ skills
  • Integrating gender dimension into NEL Innovation Ecosystem
  • Adopting different level of information and communication to disseminate project outcomes
