We are glad to share news about the participation of one of PRIMA Partnership NEXUS-NESS project partners from Tunisia, Institut des Régions Arides (IRA), in the International Water Forum Conference (IWFC 2024), held in Hammamet, Tunisia, on November 21-23, 2024.
This bi-annual scientific international conference focuses on understanding water sources, groundwater functioning, water resource management, engineering, and technology. The conference also encourages the participation of experts and scholars in related fields, aiming to provide a platform for professionals, researchers, students, and decision-makers to exchange useful information and ideas and foster scientific discussions.
During the conference, Houda Besser (IRA) from the Tunisian Nexus Ecosystem Lab team presented “WEFE Nexus management plan for sustainable development and social equity”, highlighting key findings from the gender survey on integrating women into the WEFE Nexus transition conducted by IRA team (Houda Besser, Afef Mahjoubi, Fethi ABDELLI, Mohamed Ouessar) within NEXUS-NESS in collaboration with project partners.
