On November 13, 2024, Solidar-Tunisie hosted an important NEXUS meeting in Médenine, Tunisia, aimed to foster discussions on the WEFE Nexus approach. This event brought together a wide range of stakeholders and professionals, including local farmers, experts, and decision makers, to exchange insights and discuss sustainable practices in the field of WEFE Nexus.
NEXUS-NESS team members from the Institut des Régions Arides (IRA), Dr. Houda Besser, Afef Mahjoubi, and Dr. Fethi Abdelli, participated as experts in this meeting and, together with other participants, discussed pathways to improve resource management practices and innovative solutions that can contribute to a resilient and sustainable future for the region.
