On June 2nd, Fethi Abdelli and the Institut des Régions Arides (IRA) organized the Information Day “Understanding the elements of the WEFE Nexus”, within the framework of the NEXUS-NESS project.
The event was held at IRA headquarter, placed in Medenine (Tunisia), at the presence of project partners, stakeholders and doctoral students.
Prof. Rabi Mohtar (Texas A&M University, United States) attended the conference as guest speaker. Thanks to his consolidated scientific experience in natural resources management, the professor presented the WEFE Nexus as possible solution to global environmental and social challenges such as food production and water supply for a growing population.
