Second Workshop – Marsa Matrouh – 29th April 2023 – Capacity Building and Serious Game
The team from Alexandria University (AU) has been coordinating a comprehensive series of workshops aimed at involving key stakeholders, promoting the exchange of knowledge, and enhancing local capacities as part of the NEXUS-NESS project. These workshops have been instrumental in fostering a common understanding of sustainable resource management and encouraging participants to develop joint strategies. By emphasizing participatory approaches, the sessions were designed to empower stakeholders, improve their decision-making processes, and support long-term strategic planning tailored to the specific conditions of the Wadi Naghamish region. The workshops’ interactive format ensured active engagement, a vital element for the effective adoption of integrated management solutions within the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem (WEFE) Nexus framework.
