The Ecoinsustainability project is a reflection on the exaggerated exploitation of natural resources. Avoiding the banality of a message of overt denunciation, Spoti constructs an “impossible” image-in which he combines back and forthshowing a farmer in the act of tilling a field with a plow pulled by a horse. Even in the fixity of the instant, the image suggests the natural flow of time that evokes the possibility of regaining a balance between environment and progress or, better, between nature and culture. The sound accompanying the image is the real element. Recorded live during the action it has the duration of the time it takes to plow the field (3 hours).
