In the video Anthropocene, Schiavinotto expands the vision, using real images and images related to our perceptual capacities. The work highlights how, in contemporary times, humanity has almost an obligation to have to progress at any cost, often with pride and arrogance or with what the Greeks called ὕβρις, creating a vicious circle, which creates and, at the same time, destroys. In a present where the end justifies the means, will the future have the means to justify the end?
